Field Trip to the MOMA Part 2






Here are a few pics from our second MoMA trip with Ms. Kramer's and Ms. Forero's classes. I was so impressed in how perceptive and well spoken our students are! We analyzed and critiqued the masterworks of Modernism for an hour and students wanted to keep on going!

DESTINATION IMAGINATION T-SHIRTS



Destination Imagination is a school team that competes in creative problem solving and critical thinking. After winning the Spriit Award at the state level, we printed T-Shirt to support our team at the National competition.

Puppet Sculptures

Clay Highlights





Here are a few highlights from out clay unit. We spent about 2 months exploring the uses of clay from vessels to small animal sculptures to picture frames.

Las Calaveras de Jose Guadalupe Posadas



4th grade students loved the graphic work of Posadas. We used his humorous depictions of "living skeletons" as inspiration for our own Calavera scupltures.
